Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work on Dr. Brims Health. You can cancel eligible bookings from My Bookings or by contacting support.

2. Cancellation Windows

  • OPD / Teleconsultation: cancel up to the appointment time; full refund if not yet consulted.
  • Lab Tests: cancel before sample collection / lab visit for a full refund. Home-collection charges (if a collection has already started) may be deducted.
  • Surgery / IPD: advance/deposit bookings can be cancelled before admission; the team contacts you within 24 hours. Non-refundable charges already incurred by the hospital may be deducted.
  • A booking already marked completed cannot be cancelled.

3. Refund Method & Timeline

  • Wallet payments: refunded to your Brims Wallet instantly on cancellation.
  • Online (PhonePe/UPI) payments: refunded to the original payment source within 5–7 business days (timeline depends on your bank).
  • Counter payments: handled at the hospital/lab counter as per the Provider’s process.
  • You will receive a notification/email once a refund is processed.

4. Family Card (Membership)

The Family Card (₹249/year) is a membership that unlocks discounted member pricing. As a digital membership benefit, it is non-refundable once activated, except where required by law. If activation fails but you were charged, the amount is refunded to the original source within 5–7 business days.

5. Wallet Top-ups

Money added to the Brims Wallet can be used for any booking on the Platform. Wallet balance is generally non-withdrawable to bank; refunds from cancellations are credited back to the wallet for future use.

6. Failed / Duplicate Payments

If money is debited but the booking is not confirmed, or you are charged twice, the extra amount is auto-reversed. If you do not see it within 7 business days, contact us with your transaction ID.

7. Provider No-show / Service Issues

If a Provider is unable to deliver a confirmed service, you are eligible for a full refund. Please report such cases via Support so we can resolve them quickly.
